How to Measure

We offer 3 cover sizes

For step by step instructions on how to measure your hob, please watch the video below.

The aim is to match your measurements without exceeding the maximum stated hob size for each cover.

For example - If your hob measures 580mm L x 520mm W the size you would need is Size 1.

What you will need

A pen and paper, a tape measure or measuring tape.

Now follow the steps below.

Step 1
Start by measuring the length. Place the tape measure on either the left or right-hand edge of the hob and measure the distance to the opposite edge. Now make a note of this measurement.
Step 2
Now measure the width. Follow the same instructions as Step 1 and make a note of the measurement.
Step 3
The height of your cover will depend on two things. Which hob you’re using - gas or electric. For gas covers the total height will be 88mm. For electric covers, the total height will be 53mm or 28mm for our Slimline covers. For electric hob users only - if extra height is preferable then you can choose between either of our Standard cover heights.
Step 4
This step only applies if your hob sits in front of a splash back wall. The minimum distance needed between the splash back and where the hob starts is 35mm. If your distance is less than this unfortunately we can only offer our Made to Order service.
